Now we have completed a few successful and really enjoyable runs up and down the river, we decided to do the much anticipated and discussed trip to Oxford.
We plan to take 6 or 7 days to get there, stopping along the way at various spots with a few nights in Abingdon. We will then make our way back down to Reading marina again, where we will stay for a few days, so we could organise our French visas.
We had a lovely trip up to Abingdon, working the locks, taking turns at the helm and enjoying the beautiful weather on the Thames River.
