We had Deux lifted out this past week for a survey of her hull. The lift out was stressful enough (click the link below to see why) but the survey brought a little extra stress…. We have replaced the whole aft section with new steel, but this survey included sections which we haven’t paid attention to and the thought of sections failing filled me with dread. But all was good and we took the opportunity to replace anodes, fit the rope cutter and add another coat of anti-foul.
