A boating mishap last summer unexpectedly led us to spending a few days in one of the Thames’ most respected traditional boatyards. While the reason for us having to do the journey was a boaters worst nightmare, sometimes life has a way of taking you somewhere you had only ever imagined, even if the route there is not quite the one you would have chosen.
