We waited and waited for the rain to stop so we could do a little travelling on the river. Unfortunately that was not to be. The river went to flood, almost all locks displayed red boards, boats sunk and we resigned ourselves to 2025 being our travel year. So we winterised the boat and left her in the capable hands of Reading Marine Services and caught a flight to sunny South Africa for UK winter.
