An August Bank Holiday escape aboard Deux Poissons took us upriver to Goring and Wallingford. Three lovely days of cruising, exploring quaint shops, enjoying a few drinks and searching for an elusive replacement decanter stopper. We returned with a pewter goblet, an old military cigarette box and plenty of memories — but still no stopper!
